Aran
Some Aran designs have originated from the designs found on Irish stones and crosses - the latter are most impressive and rich in their decoration.
Aran patterns represent e.g. cables, diamonds, honeycomb, moss stitch, trellis, zigzag, marriage lines, tree of life.
